"Mrs. Branyon Weds Mr. Latimer - Honea Path, May 7 - Of interest to a wide circle of friends throughout the South and East was the announcement on April 28 of the marriage of Elizabeth C. Branyon of Honea Path, to James T. Latimer of New York and Atlanta. Mrs. Latimer is a native of North Carolina and is quite prominent socially socially. She is owner and manager of the Sherwood Farms and is considered one of the most capable business women in her adopted state. Mr. Latimer is a nephew of W.A. Latimer of Augusta, GA. and the late Senator A. C. Latimer. His family has long been prominent in the political and business world. He attended Wofford college and Clemson and is a member of the S. A. E. fraternity. For some time he has been southern representative for a large New York firm."
