Jeane Cruz, 75, St. Joseph, Mo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at her home.
Jeane was born Nov. 25, 1930, in St. Joseph and was a lifelong St. Joseph resident.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the St. Joseph's Cathedral and Altar Society.
She worked 10 years for Seitz Foods and later for Dr. Sklenar until her retirement.
She married Jesse A, Cruz on Sept. 12, 1949. He passed away Dec. 28, 2002.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ellen (Kelly) Hickman; brothers George W., Joseph C. and James M Hickman; and sisters, Eva L Hickman,Rose Blanchard and Theresa Gotto.
Jeane is survived by her daughter Lydia (Steve) Parrish, St. Joseph; three grandsons, Jesse, Damian and Craig Parrish; two great-grandsons, Drake and Preston Parrish; brother Frank Hickman, Los Angelos, Calif.; and sister Mary Brooks, Springfield, Mo.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph Cathedral. Entombment: Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Visitation:begins after 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Heaton-Bowmam-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph, where a rosary will be at 7 p.m.Tuesday and the family will receive friends 6 to 8:30 p.m.
