This cemetery survey was published in 1965 in McLennan County Cemetery Records, Volume I, by the Central Texas Genealogical Society.
Colonel E. D. Martin came from N. C. to Texas in 1841, landing at Galveston.
Col. Martin first lived near the old town of Milam and was a participant in early Texas history.
He came to Bosqueville, Texas in 1867.
Mrs. Martin was born in Blackhawk, Miss.
Their daughter, Mattie Martin, born in 1854, married Thomas B. Crump, who lost an arm in the Civil War.
