Her husband, George F. Crowley, died in 1981. She leaves two sons, George F. Crowley Jr. of Massapequa, N.Y., and Robert W. Crowley of Hanson; a brother, Robert A. Welch of Townsend; two sisters, Elsie Deignan of Townsend and Dorothy Bussiere of Rindge, N.H.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was born in Leominster, daughter of Robert W. and Eva L. (Grenier) Welch, and lived in Townsend 46 years.
Mrs. Crowley was an attendant at Burbank Hospital during the 1960s.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, where she was active in the Women's Club and the former sodality. She also taught Confraternity of Christine Doctrine classes there. She was a member of the Townsend Golden Agers Club.
The funeral will be held Tuesday with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 School St. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Calling hours at T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main St., are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church.
