BISON — Arthur Crotinger, 92, died Dec.
19 at the Rush County Nursing Home in
La Crosse. He was born Sept. 14, 1915,
south of Bison, the son of Stanley A. and
Olga (Ropp) Crotinger. He married Olga
Nather on June 3, 1935, at Timken. She
survives. He was a retired farmer and
cattleman, and a lifetime resident of
Bison.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic
Church and Knights of Columbus, both of
Olmitz. He was also a member of area
co-ops.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, of the
home, include two sons, Mike Crotinger
of Bison and Eugene Crotinger of Hinton,
Okla.; seven daughters, Dorothy
Hernandez of San Leandro, Calif., Lois
Pusateri of Felton, Mo., Cindy Sohm and
Deb Dalton, both of Otis, Florence
Holmes of Great Bend, Sue Hollingsworth
of McPherson and Rosemary Linn of
Smith Center; 29 grandchildren, 20
great-grandchildren and several greatgreat-
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Ann Crotinger and Carol Willhite, a brother, Lawrence Crotinger, and two sisters, Sarah Ann Davis Hanlin and Mary Jane Crotinger.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at St. Ann Catholic Church,
Olmitz, with Father Ultan Murphy
officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross
Cemetery, Timken. Donations to
memorials for St. Ann Church or the Otis
Ambulance may be made in care of the
funeral home.
