Bonny Jo Bendotti, 43, of Lake Wenatchee, was taken from us Saturday afternoon, Nov. 2, 1996.

She was born April 8, 1953, to Gerald T. and Betty Jo (Wantz) Cross at Sacramento, Calif. As a young child, she moved with her family to George, where she was raised and received her schooling through her sophomore year. In 1969, the family moved to Wenatchee, where she started her junior year. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1971, and later attended Trend Business College. Following school, she made her home in East Wenatchee.

In October of 1984, Bonny and her sister, Judy, started Northwest Office Supply in Wenatchee where she remained an active partner until 1993.

On Oct. 20, 1990, she married Gene L. Bendotti at Leavenworth. They made their home together at Lake Wenatchee.

In 1993, she became an active partner with her husband in Wenatchee Building and Roofing Supply Co. They later started and managed the local branch of Allied Business Products.

Bonny was a loving wife and mother and outstanding friend. She enjoyed snowmobiling, scuba diving, boating, water skiing, golfing, hunting, fishing, camping, sewing and crafts.

She was a member of the Exchange Club and the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club.

She is survived by her husband, Gene L. Bendotti, Lake Wenatchee; five children, Ryan Bendotti, Pullman, Cully Rasmussen and Adam Rasmussen, both of East Wenatchee, Michael Bendotti, Bothell, and Brandy Rasmussen at home; her father, Gerald "Jerry" Cross, Wenatchee; one brother, Tom Cross, Battle Ground; and two sisters, Chris Creek and Judy Green, both of Wenatchee.

Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the Wenatchee First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Norman Stueckle officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow in Wenatchee Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial donations in her name to the Bonny Bendotti Rapid Response Memorial Fund. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley.
