James E. Crossman Is Buried Tuesday
Funeral services for James Edward Crossman, 54, a native son of Mason county, were held Tuesday from Witsiers Funeral Home, with Reverend J. O. Bovee conducting. Burial was in the V.F.W. division of Shelton Memorial Park.
His home is on Route 5, Olympia, and his death occurred in St. Peters Hospital, Olympia, Friday, March 14. He was born April 26, 1893 at Bayshore.
He is survived by his widow, Vonda Crossman, Route 5, Olympia; two daughters, Mrs. Cecile Loitz, Shelton, and Mrs. Jeanne Clark, Oregon; three grandchildren; four brothers, John and William of Oregon, Charles of Raymond, and Dave of Port Angeles; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Lindsey and Mrs. Julia Hambley of Shelton, Mrs. Mamie Labor of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Cecile Adkinson, of Custer, Wash.
He was in the Navy in World War I, enlisting in 1917 in Seattle and received his discharge August 27, 1919, at Rhode Island.
