Sharon, the fourteen year old son of W.J. Crook of Smoot, died Thursday morning of Typhoid fever. He had been sick for about ten days and suffered great pain. His sickness was not considered serious until a few days ago and as Dr. West is in Evanston, medical aid could not be had until miss Hill arrived in Afton for whom they sent. She made on visit but it was probably too late to do any good.
The lad was a good boy and his sad death brings srrow to all who knew him. The parents have our heartfelt sympathy.
