Annie Camilla Cronkite Bender, 94, passed away Tuesday evening, November 21, 2006 in Richardson, Texas

The daughter of Martha Anna Stein and Hugh Cronkhite, Annie's family homesteaded in Texas County, OK, and the children attended the Eula and Friendship community schools.
On June 1, 1940, she married Earl Ray Bender in Guymon. He passed away Nov. 23, 1943. Annie was the financial secretary for the Guymon School System for many years and was an active member of the First Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for more than 31 years. She was also a member of the Nathional Society, DAR.
Survivors include a son, three grandsons, and three great grandsons. Funeral services will take place Monday, Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church of Guymon, OK.
Interment will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

She is buried with her husband in the section between Rose Lane (400 St.) and 500 St. and between C St. & D St.
