Mrs. Julia C. Bowles
Mrs. Julia Critcher Bowles of the Mount Vernon section died on January 17, at the age of 79 years.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday from the Mount Vernon church by the pastor, Reverend R. C. Eggers and interment was in the Critcher cemetery.
Mrs. Bowles, the widow of the late John C. Bowles, is survived by five sons and daughters. There are 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and three brothers.
Mrs. Bowles professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Vernon Baptist church, where she remained a faithful member until death.
