His father was Frederick G. Crisp and his mother, Barbara (McIntosch) Crisp. They moved from Cherokee County, Iowa to a ranch in Lord's Valley, Lincoln County, WA.
He married first to Madge Elizabeth Corselius 10 June 1907 Spokane, Washington.
He was a hardware merchant in Harrington, WA when they married. In 1917 he sold his business and moved to Spokane, Spokane County, WA.
While at Harrington he belonged to the Laurel Lodge 119 and the Bright Hope chapter of Eastern Star. He was a member of the Spokane Shriners.
After his wife died, he married second to Kathern McInnis 2 December 1941 in Clark County, WA. She was from Multnomah County, Oregon. She was born 26 January 1882 and died December 1970 Spokane, WA.
He had an operation at Mayo Brothers Hospital in Rochester, MN. He improved but did not completely recover. He passed away in his home.
