Frank Lorenzo Crespin, known to many as "Larry" or "Tiny" was born on November 7, 1952 to Mary Alice and Lorenzo Baca in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Larry was only months old when his father passed away in the Korean War. His mother Alice remarried when he was a young child to who he became to know as his father, Frank Crespin. His parents then gave him two sisters; Victoria and Andrea and a brother David. Larry grew up in Martinez town, the north valley and south valley areas. Larry attended Valley High School and was on the wrestling team. He graduated from Valley High with the class of 1970. Following graduation he attended some college courses and began working for the City of Albuquerque. He married the love of his life Iris Gabaldon on June 15, 1974 and they went on to have 4 children; Lorenzo, Mario, Evonne and Iris. After Larry's employment with the City of Albuquerque he began to make a living doing what he loved, paint and body. He taught his 3 oldest children how to do body work and some mechanics as well as employed many individuals in the community. In the year 2000, his daughter Evonne gave him his first grandchild, Dominique. From the day she was born Larry tried his best to change all his negative ways and grow closer to God in order to be the best grandpa that he could be. He succeeded! Larry loved being a grandfather. He had 8 grandchildren; Dominique, Nicholas, Jacob, Jason, Beverly, Nathan, Angelique and Miranda. Larry loved his family and friends and would do anything at anytime for anyone of them. He was always laughing and joking around and was always the life of the party. He had an amazing laugh that was contagious and could be heard from far. Larry went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Saturday, January 9, 2016. He was surrounded by many family members and friends just like he had wanted. Larry is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
