CLAUD JAMES CREEKMORE,78, FOUNDED SOUTH NORFOLK HARDWARE STORE, of the 1100 block of Orville Ave, founder of Creekmore Hardware, died April 3, 1990, in a hospital. Mr. Creekmore, a native of Camden County, NC, had operated the South Norfolk hardware store since 1949. He was a member, deacon and elder of First Presbyterian Church, Chesapeake. Survivors include his wife, Doris Rice Creekmore; two sons, James S. Creekmore and D. Michael Creekmore, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Mildred Divers of Virginia Beach.
