Brent "Bub" Creedon, 28, of Philadelphia, a sales representative and athlete, died Nov. 14 at Thomas Jefferson University Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Born in Upland, Mr. Creedon grew up in the Boothwyn section of Upper Chichester and was a resident of the Old City section of Philadelphia for the last six months. He was a graduate of Holy Saviour Grade School in the Linwood section of Lower Chichester, Cardinal O'Hara High School in Marple and Penn State University. Mr. Creedon was a sales representative for Kenexa Corp. in Philadelphia.
Mr. Creedon enjoyed physical fitness, working out at the gym and playing golf and adult league softball and hockey. He was a fan of Philadelphia sports teams. Mr. Creedon formerly played Little League and Chichester baseball, Holy Saviour Catholic Youth Organization basketball and baseball, Cardinal O'Hara ice hockey and Penn-Delco baseball. He was a former altar server at St. John Fisher Church in Upper Chichester.
Survivors: Parents, Michael and Mary Ann Creedon of West Chester, sister, Stephanie Marie Shellenberger of Aston; brother, Stephen Michael Creedon of West Chester; maternal grandmother, Delores Gattone of Marcus Hook; fraternal grandmother, Marie Creedon of Trainer.
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, St. Cornelius Church, 160 Ridge Road, Chadds Ford.
Visitation: 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Rigby, Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St., Media, and 8:30-9:45 a.m. Thursday at the Church.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
