After Peck married Audria King, he was a deputy sheriff in Mercer Co., Ohio, for a short time and was let go. His father-in-law, Frank King, bought him a building on Fayette St., Celina, where he had an auto repair shop. Between 1925 and 1930, he left his family and headed for Detroit, MI.
