Saybrook – Mrs. Edith Blum, 75, of Berne, Indiana, formerly of Saybrook, died Sunday morning (April 1, 1962) at her home in Berne. She had been ill about six months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in Berne.
She was born January 8, 1887, at Saybrook, a daughter of Horace and Margaret Crawford. She married Fred Blum in January, 1909. They moved to Indiana in 1921.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Elzie of Berne; Mrs. Marjorie Cory of Augusta, Georgia; a son, Lawrence Blum of Berne; two sisters, Mrs. Lyle Harsha of Berne; Mrs. Cosy Hutton of Saybrook; two brothers, Clarence Crawford of Saybrook; E.M. Crawford of Bloomington.
She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Berne.
