She was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Terre Haute. Her parents were Luther and Lillian (Merkel) Crawford. Survivors include two sons, Larry Buttz of Indianapolis and Rick Buttz of Greenwood; a brother, Luther Crawford of Indianapolis; a sister, Dorothy Bishop of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Davis.
She was a graduate of Manual High School in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker and had worked at Blocks Tea Room. She was an auxiliary member of the Beech Grove American Legion Post .
Services were entrusted to Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home of Greenwood, Indiana.
