OBITUARY
Milton Bruce Cramer
Milton Bruce, son of Hiram and Mary Cramer, was born in Turkey Foot, Penn., on January 2nd, 1864. He spent his boy hood days in that community and was confirmed in the Lutheran church.
On September 23, 1884, he was married to Sadie Eicher. The young couple established their home on a farm in Turkey Foot township and Mr. Cramer united with the Bethel Methodist church (sic) of which his wife was a member.
In 1897 the family came to Hardy, Nebr., where Mr. Cramer was engaged in the mercantile business with his father and brothers.
Through long years of faithful service as a business man in the community he has won the friendship of all who knew him. He was an active member of the I.O.O.F. lodge and an attendant of the M.E. church (sic).
Of the five sons born to Mr. and Mrs. Cramer, three are left to mourn with their mother, the Ioss of a devoted father. The two oldest sons, W.J. and H.E. are residents of the Hardy Community and C.C. lives in Superior. Mr. Cramer is also survived by a brother John of Long Beach, Calif., and two sisters Mrs. Minnie Scott of Hardy and Mrs. Lillian Nelson of Wichita, Kansas. There are also twelve grand children and four great grand children.
Through his long illness Mr. Cramer has exhibited the patience, kindness and endurance which were characteristic of his active life.
He passed away at his home in Hardy on August 15, 1941.
Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon with Rev. Delo in charge. Burial in the Hardy cemetery (sic).
