Dorothy Ellen Badgley, 92, passed away in the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She was the daughter of James Thomas and Rebecca Jane (Persinger) Crail. She married John William Badgley on November 29, 1918 and he preceded her in death on June 1, 1961.
Surviving her were three sons, Robert William, Eugene and Kay Badgley; five daughters, Juanita Faith, Eileen Bex, Wanda Bergeron, Carol Miskimins and Shirley Carver; a sister, Florence Bedwell; and twenty-six grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Harry Crail and James Allen Crail; five sisters, Mary Manning, Eva Dollie Crail, Alice Brannon, Ida Lafoon and Lucinda Smith; and a great-grandson, Jacob Wipf.
Funeral services for Dorothy Ellen Badgley were held on September 17, 1993 in the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, Illinois followed by interment in the Robinson New Cemetery.
