Daugther of Franklin "Frank" Craig and Anna Katherine "Katherine" Delk. Laura married Haburn Rube "Rube" Browning, Sr. on 9 Oct 1928 in Harlan County, Kentucky after her father, Frank, moved to Harlan County, Kentucky from Gatliff, Whitley County, Kentucky in search of work as a coal miner. Laura and Haburn had 5 children as follows: Mayme Ruth "Ruth" Browning, Anna "Ann" Mae Browning, Katherine Jane Browning, Eunice Sue "Sue" Browning, and Hayburn Rube Browning Jr.

Laura died at a nursing home in Louisville. Funeral Services were handled by Embry-Bosse Funeral Home.
