Mrs. Gertrude Coyner Calkins, of 33 Maxwell Rd., died Tuesday, April 20, 1976.
She was the daughter of the late Newton C. and Edith Elam Coyner, of Mineral and the granddaughter of Col. William C. Elam, former editor of the Norfolk-Virginian Pilot.
She is survived by her husband, Frank S. Calkins, of Richmond; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy C. Morton, of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Calkins was a member of Reveille United Methodist Church.
Remains rest at the Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cushaw Ave., where services will be conducted at 11 A.M. Thursday, April 22. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
