Robert, "Bob", Bernard Cox, 73, of Bullitt Co., returned to his Heavenly Father Monday, January 30, 2017.
Mr. Cox was born February 9, 1943 to William Bernard and Laura Catherine Cox in Covington, Kentucky. He was a retired telephone installer for the Western Electric Company.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Laura Cox; 4 brothers, Donnie, Ronnie, Alvin, and William; and 5 sisters, Billie, Juanita, Wanda, Wilma and "Baby Girl", an infant.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Cox; 2 daughters, Patricia Eggers (Herbert, III), and Jacqueline Kaiser (Matt); 4 grandchildren, Paige and Herbert "Bo" Eggers IV, and Jackson and Madeline Kaiser; 1 brother, Chuck Cox and 1 sister, Ruth Ann Switzer.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.), with burial at Brookland Cemetery to follow. Friends and family can pay their respects on Friday February 3, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday
