She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Her church family knew Betty as the "cookie lady". She made wonderful home baked cookies for church events and bake sales. Betty raised her four children in Lansing, Ml, where she served as both Girl Scout Leader and Cub Scout Leader. She was home room. mother every year she had a child in. elementary school,. Betty also enjoyed. charity performances as "Fiddle Faddle" the clown.
Betty is survived by her children, Karen King of Visalia, CA; Linda. Steinhoff of East Point, MT; Lorna Cowan of Tampa, FL; and Thomas Cowan of Lansing, MT. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
