Mary Bush,80,of Johnson Avenue,Belle Vernon,died Monday,Dec. 12,1994,at 2:10 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township. Born Dec. 2,1914,in Scotland,she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Kirk Cowan. She was a member of Pricedale Union Church and the church choir. A Belle Vernon area resident most of her life,she was a member of Rostraver AARP.Mrs. Bush was retired head cook at Rostraver Junior High School. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Cowan,in 1948;a sister,Janet Patterson,in 1987;and a son-in-law,J. Walter Naylor,in 1987. Survivors include her husband,Henry E. Bush,with whom she celebrated 59 years of marriage on March 9,1994;one son and daughter-in-law,James C. and Camille Bush of Belle Vernon R.D.4;one daughter,J. Arlene Naylor of Belle Vernon R.D.1;six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor James J. Mimidis of Pricedale Union Church and Pastor Frank Mordecki of Full Gospel Assembly,Monongahela,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
