Dennis died in childhood.

Note: The Pere Marquette cemetery records show a birth date of 1881 for Dennis, but this is likely a mistake in transcription since his birth certificate shows a date of birth of June 22, 1884, the same date on which his twin Ennis was also born. No date of death is provided in the cemetery records, but the tombstone shows a death date of January 2, 1884. That must be a mistake; calculating from his date of birth and his age at death (shown on the stone), Dennis must have died on January 2, 1885.

Note that the name provided for Dennis's mother is Mary Reed, whereas the name of his twin Ennis's mother is recorded as Eliza Reed.
