Following six weeks illness, Mrs. George L. Brewsaugh died Friday morning at the Wabash County hospital shortly before 10 o'clock. She had been taken to the hospital Tuesday when her condition had become serious.
Mrs. Brewsaugh was born Iona Edna Cottrell, daughter of William and Mary Jane Cottrell, June 25, 1894 in Princeton, Mo. She was married at Marysville, Mo., July 17, 1919 to George Lewis Brewsaugh, who with one daughter, Mary Ann, survives. She is also survived by her mother and three brothers, Virgil, Harry and Edward all of whom lived near Princeton, Mo.
Mrs. Brewsaugh has been a resident of Wabash for about 12 years coming here from Peru. Her husband is a telegraph operator for the Wabash railroad.
Definite funeral arrangements have not yet been made but the body has been taken to the Hoover Funeral home where friends may call.
