Robert William Corwin slept away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, and is now at peace.

He was born Aug. 9, 1919, a son of the late Florence E. and William C. Corwin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, H. Edward Corwin, formerly of Lincoln Place.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Nola F. (Rogers) Corwin; devoted daughter, Ginny Harbst and son-in-law, Dave Harbst.

Also, surviving are two very special granddaughters, Jennifer (Rob) Neidig, of New Jersey, and Molly Harbst, of Munhall; and recently born great-granddaughter, Mia Rose Neidig.

He is also survived by a special niece, Evonne Hatch, as well as a few other close nieces and nephews.

Bob worked for Duquesne Light Co. for 45 years and did electrical work for many local businesses including Kennywood Park for 60 years.

In addition, he was a proud World War II veteran. His family and his work were his passion.

He will be greatly missed by his family and many loyal friends.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to your local animal shelter, Three Rivers Hospice, Lebanon Presbyterian Church, or a charity of the donor's choice.
