Walter D. "Wally" Corrigan was the son of Walter D. Corrigan, Jr. and Lucille Thorsen and the husband of LaVerne A. Lutz. He was raised by his great grandmother, Hellen Dickson Corrigan. He served in World War II. He graduated from Iowa State University and became an electrical engineer. Wally was proud of his Norwegian ancestry on his mother's side.
