Harry Cornell

Services for Harry Cornell, 69, who died Wednesday in the Tompkins County Hospital, will be announced later by the Bangs Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cornell was a retired farmer and veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Cornell; two sons, Alfred and Lester, both of Brooktondale; two daughters, Miss Lillian and Miss Marjorie Cornell, also of Brooktondale, two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Whitted and Mrs. Ethel Elston, both of Ithaca; three brothers, Fred of Ithaca, Robert of Slaterville Springs, and Roy of Dunkirk; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening.

Although no headstone was located, he at one time had a flat granite marker, which is likely still there, but covered with sod.
