She was born June 1, 1929 to the late John and Jean (nee Bowie) Cormack in White Plains, NY. She was thoughtful, kind, and loved to cook and bake.
Edith is survived by her devoted husband Rocco Buonassisi of Valhalla, NY. Her lovng children; Joseph R. Buonassisi and his wife Debra of Thornwood, NY. and Nancy Studer and her husband Fred of Valhalla, NY. One sister Gladys Dahl of White Plains, NY. Also survived by her six cherished grandchildren; Joseph, Katie, Kimberly, Keri Buonassisi, and Diane Varnell and Jeff Studer, and by one great-grandson Rocco Varnell. Predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
Reposing at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m., where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
