"To be a nurse is to walk with God Along the path that our Master trod." Her most powerful medicine was love. It helped many a one without hope to rise and go on to happiness. She cheered and made happy where before there was discouragement. She suffered body blows and injury but kept on and finished her course. She read John 17 everyday she could. There is a cenotaph in Waltham's Mt Feake Cemetery, shown here. It is a smaller version of the original stone in Woodville's Evergreen Cemetery, Middlesex County, Hopkington MA.
