María Epimenia "Eppie" Carrillo, age 91, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully with her family around her on Saturday, May 24, 2014.
Eppie was born on September 15, 1922 to Donaciano and Margarita Córdova.
Eppie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ramon Carrillo, two infant sons, grandson, Martín Lucero, three brothers and two sisters.
Eppie is survived by her daughters, Linda Lucero, Loretta Frésquez and her husband, Victor, Consuelo Martínez and her husband, Larry and Christina Carrillo Padilla and her husband, Leo, grandchildren, Lisa Henneman and her husband, Glen, Gina Ripley and her husband, David, Ramon Martínez and his wife, Vallie, Jacobo Martínez and his wife, Jennifer, Luis Martínez and his wife, Carolyn and Adrianna Miller and her husband, Jarrett, great-grandchildren, Nicole Henneman, Danielle Ripley, Kevin Henneman, Andrew Henneman, Brandon Ripley, Marianna Martínez, Ramon Martínez, Isabella Miller, Eva Martínez, Julianna Miller, Olivia Martínez, Rebecca Martínez and son, Adeline Harper Miller, sister-in-law, Olga Sandoval, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eppie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, which she loved and cared about above all else. We are so very grateful for the love she bestowed on each of us. Eppie will always be loved and missed dearly.

A memorial rosary will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, located at 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
