Mrs. Virginia Corbett Bellfield, 91, of 603 Eastover Terrace, Clinton, died Wednesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC.
Mrs. Bellfield is survived by four daughters, Alma Geraldine Grant of Portsmouth, VA; Pattie Ward and Angie Bellfield both of Clinton, NC; and Annette Williams of Harrells, NC; five sons, Larry James George, Jr. of Florence, SC; Hardy Watkins and Michael Watkins both of Raleigh, NC; Ronnie Watkins and David Watkins both of Clinton, NC; a sister, Evelyn Frontis of Clinton, NC; and three brothers, Nathaniel Corbett of Ivanhoe, NC; Nero Corbett and Billy Ray Corbett both of Harrells, NC; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and thirteen great great-grandchildren.
The family received friends1-8pm, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the Brock Memorial & Worley Funeral Home of Clinton, NC. with the family present 6-8pm.
The funeral services were held at 2pm, Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Ivanhoe, NC. with the Rev. Virgil Reaves officiating.
Burial was made in the Church Cemetery.
