Frank Coppi 91, of New Eagle, died December 2, 2008 in the Mon Valley Care Center, Monongahela. He was born May 18, 1917, in Monongahela, a son of the late Adam and Pearl Guidotti Coppi. Mr. Coppi retired from Combustion Engineering in East Monongahela and was a member of the former Itaian Citizens Club in Monongahela. He enjoyed working in his flower and vegetable garden and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his son Frank A. Coppi and wife Delores of Donora, daughter Rosemarie Appolonia and husband Martin of Naples, Florida; two grandchildren Angela Marie and Anthony Coppi; two brothers Amos Coppi and wife Frances of Fisher Heights, Oliver Coppi and wife Isabelle of Monongahela, sister Norma Beemer of Crescent City, California; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Pritchard Coppi who died on May 7, 1989. Private visitations were held in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 W.
