She was born in Brunswick, Md., daughter of the late John and Mattie Lee Rockwell
She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Martinsburg; Loyal Star lodge, Golden Rule Chapter No. 69, O.E.S. and the City Hospital auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel J. Cooper; son Donald E. Albert of Front Royal and daughter Virginia Albert Kayser of Hagerstown; step-children Helen Cook and Francis Rhodes of Martinsburg; Sam of Sacramento, Cal.; grandchildren, Larry and Donnie Kayser; Dona, Evelyn, Albert, Judy and Lynn Cook and Sandra Cooper; brothers, Fred Rockwell and Boyd Rockwell of Washington, D.C.; Tom Rockwell, Frederick; Hilleary Rockwell, Brunswick; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. (DST) at Trinity Methodist Church, Martinsburg, with the Rev. Raymond Wood officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. from the Rosemont funeral home. Burial will be made at Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick, at 3:30. Graveside services will be conducted by the Order of Eastern Star chapter of Brunswick.
