Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon C. Cooper, Age 61, of Livingston will be conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Tony Huddleston officiating. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.
Mrs. Cooper passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening September 15, 2015 at the Upper Cumberland Hospice House in Cookeville. She was born in Overton County on September 23, 1953 to the late Willard & Florence Smith Cooper.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She owned her own business in Livingston "Sharon's Shear Elegance" where she was a hairstylist and cosmetologist. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, quilting, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Allen Cooper of Livingston; a son, Andrew Long & wife Leslie, of Hermitage, TN; grandchildren, Allison & William Long; a sister, Charlotte Huddleston & husband, Tony of Livingston, TN and 3 step-sons, Jesse and Jared Cooper of Paragon, IN and Zach Cooper of Livingston.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Mackie & Bruce Cooper.
Pallbearers to serve are Jared & Zach Cooper, Eric Huddleston, Patrick Huddleston, Grant Holman, & Benjamin Breeding.
