A precious baby girl was born to Elmarine Alexander and Samuel Lee Cook on May 25, 1981, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

They named their bundle of joy Chontec Michell.

She received her formal education in the Tulsa Public School System, culminating with her graduation from Tulsa McLain High School.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Corner Stone Baptist Church.

Chontec truly loved children, especially her niece and nephew.

They were one of her joys of life.

Chontec was preceded in death by her grandmother, and great-grandmother Rosie Alexander and Addie Burden, several uncles and aunts.

Remaining to cherish a lifetime of memories: her mother Elmarine Alexander, father Samuel Lee Cook, SR., four brothers: Samuel Lee Cook, JR., Demario, David, and Kiwon, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Chontec Michell Cook Alexander will truly be missed.

Services for Chontec will be Saturday, January 17, 2007, at 11 AM inside the All Faiths Chapel at Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors' Tulsa Chapel.

Friends and family alike may visit her as she peacefully rests on Friday from 12Noon to 7 PM.

"For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens."
