Irene G. Collom, 83, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village, Chrisman.
She was born on Feb. 12, 1927 in Georgetown to George and Rosa Johnson Cook. She married Vernon A. Collom on Dec. 6, 1945. He passed away on March 18, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; three sisters and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Donald (Karen) Collom of Paris and Thomas (Dianne) Collom of Catlin; grandchildren, Deanna (Bobby) Leonard, Tracy Collom, Amy (Brad) Peterson, Lisa (Matt) Trimble, Chastity (Gary) O'Hair, Michael Collom, Tricia (Josh) Northam, Jeff (Diane) Newell and Jennifer Newell; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
