Mrs. Lillian Cook Belge, 67, of 7568 Taft Road, East Syracuse, died yesterday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and was a long-time resident of the Mattydale-North Syracuse area. Mrs. Belge was a member of the Malden Road Community Church and worked for 20 years at the H. L. Green Store in Syracuse. Surviving are her husband, Vernon O. Belge; a daughter, Mrs. Verna Baker of North Syracuse; three sons, Thomas A. Phinney of West Monroe, Richard R. Phinney of North Syracuse and Gerald F. Phinney of North Carolina; a brother, Theodore Cook of Solvay; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Langley of Florida and Mrs. Edna Chunko of Solvay; 16 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kreuger Funeral home, Mattydale, the Rev. David R. Nicholas officiating. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
