Dorothy Lee Connelly, 84, of Louisville passed away at her home on December 14, 2009.
Born on July 1, 1925, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Connelly, in May of 2007. As with much of the symmetry that composed their marriage, they both lived full lives until their passing at the identical age of 84.
Dorothy's legacy abides in her four children and their families: Linda (Joseph) Dennin, of Merchantville, N.J., Dennis (Monica) Connelly of Owensboro and Michael Connelly and Kevin (Phyllis) Connelly of Louisville; nine grandchildren, Shannon (Richard) Talbot, Jennifer Lyons, Michael (Nina) Dennin, Patrick Connelly, Barrett Connelly, Joseph Connelly, Kathleen (Chad) Morris, Lauren (Michael) Burden, and Nik Adamchak and; three great-grandchildren, Connor and Linley Morris and Hayden Lyons.
Her funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Friday, December 18, 2009 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. – 1 P.M. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
