TWO MINCO MEN SUCCUMB TO INJURIES AFTER AUTO CRASH
Cecil Conn, 36, died in a Chickasha hospital Monday night, shortly after 6 O'clock and A.G. Monroe, 64, succumbed in an Oklahoma City Hospital.
Mr. Monroe and Mr. Conn were injured when the car in which they were riding with a third man, J.E. Davis, 34, of Minco, crashed through a guard rail on the south approach to the Washita River bridge on Highway 81 north of Chickasha Sunday night around 12 o'clock. Davis was removed from a hospital in Chickasha Monday, to an Oklahoma City hospital. Although thrown about 35 feet from the point where the car stopped after crashing through the guard rail and plunging over an embankment, Davis was not believed critically hurt.
Highway Patrolman, H.A. Stafford and Bob Lowell, investigating the accident said that information that they received indicated that Conn was driving Davis' car when the accident occurred.
