Ramon Trias Concepcion, Sr. passed away at age 85 on October 6, 2014.

Ramon lived in Union City for 40 years. He was a graduate of Civil Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines, and worked as a Project Engineer for the City of San Mateo. He loved sports, especially tennis. He was pretty good at this sport and at one time served as President of the Union City Tennis Club. Playing bingo with his wife and friends was also one of his favorite pastimes.

Ramon is survived by his wife of 55 years, Andrea (Andi), and five children: Ma. Corazon Concepcion; Ditas Concepcion Solorio; Ramon Concepcion, Jr. and his wife Edna; Joseph Alexander Concepcion; Bernie Concepcion; daughter-in-law Kim Shuss; and his only grandchild Brigitte Concepcion Solorio.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward 32992 Mission Blvd. Hayward, CA 94544 on Sunday, October 12th 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 13th at St. Anne's Church 32223 Cabello St. Union City, CA 94587 followed by burial at Chapel of the Chimes Hayward.
