A funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, 1999, in St. Anne Catholic Church for Bruce A. Collopy, who died Aug. 27 at age 64.

Mr. Collopy was born May 31, 1935, in Bemidji, Minn. He had lived in the Portland area since 1940. He earned an associate's degree in administration of criminal justice from Portland Community College. He was a corrections deputy for Multnomah County from 1973 until retiring in 1997. He served in the Oregon National Guard and the Portland Police Reserve.

He married Carol Lea VanCampen in 1964.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Sonja Engstrom, Stephanie Collopy, Michelle Collopy and Aliesha Morse, all of Portland; brothers, Stanley and Stephen, both of Portland; and seven grandchildren.

Private interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mt. Scott Funeral Home.
