Maude Brim, 74, Wood Street, died of natural causes at 7 a.m. Friday at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gamble Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Presley officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5 this afternoon, with family to greet friends from 6 to 8 tonight.
A native of Rockwood, Tenn., she was born Feb. 12, 1924, daughter of the late Joe and Lucendia Collier. she was a foster mother and homemaker and a member of Lane Tabernacle CME Church.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Brim Sr.; a son, Howard Brim Jr., Lexington; three stepsons, William Brim, Jimmy Brim and Othello Brim, all of Louisville; two daughters, Mae J. Arvin, Jeffersonville, Ind., and Judy Browder, Pittsburg, Calif.; and nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
