Mollie Bartley, age 90, of Powells Creek in Pikeville, KY., passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at her residence.
She was born August 24, 1924, in Roanoke, VA., to the late Pete and Dolly Gwinn Coleman.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsie Bartley, two sisters, Lillian Cramer and Olynia Mishler, and one brother, Daniel Coleman.
She is survived by three daughters, Ocie Ratliff of Burning Fork, Gail Runyon of Powells Creek, and Jewel Fields of Raccoon, four sons, Richard Bartley of Powells Creek, Chester Bartley of Millard Highway, William "Bootie" Bartley of Powells Creek, and David Bartley of Gulnare, twelve grandchildren and ten great- grandchildren. Mollie will be greatly missed by all who knew and treasured her.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the TMFH Chapel, with Ray Sawyers, Delone Jones, and Bill Ratliff. Entombment will follow at the J.U. Thacker Mausoleum.
