CLEMSON - Mrs. Daisy Geddens Coker, 82, of 220 Williamston Road, died in Anderson Memorial Hospital Saturday at 6:30 a.m. after a year of declining health and serious illness of four weeks.

She was a native of Laurens County, daughter of the late Cass L. and Sara Franks Geddens, and spent most of her life in the Pelzer-Williamston area. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pelzer. Her husband, the late Robert L. Coker, died in 1957.

Surviving are four sons, Lewis Coker of Pelzer, Raymond Coker of Anderson, Rev. Jack Coker of Orange, Va., and Milton Coker of Williamston; four daughters, Mrs. Thomas H. Mackey of Anderson, Mrs. E. G. Kay of Greenwood, Mrs. I. E. McDavid of Newport News, Va., and Mrs. C. O. Saylors of Anderson; one sister, Mrs. Truman Kelly of Williamston; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at The McDougald Funeral Home by Rev. Edwin M. Odom. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Grandsons will be pallbearers. The body is at the funeral home and the family is at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Thomas H. Mackey, 220 Williamston Road.
