Blanche C. Cleaves, 73, of Yamrouth died Feb. 15, 1981, at a Portland hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Clarence H. Cleaves. She was born in Freeport daughter of LaRue and Margaret (Blake) Coffin. She was educated in schools in Westbrook andYarmouth, a graduate of Yarmouth Hgh School. She made her home in Yarmouth since 1928. She had been employed at the Royal River Packing Co. Also, for a few years she was n employee of Yamrouth schools Hot-lunch program, retiring in 1972. She is survived by oneson, Donald B. Cleaves of Yarmouth; one daughter, Mrs. Nolan (Margaret) Beale of Hampden; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Yamrouth with spring interment in Riverside Cemetery. In Liue of flowers, it is suggested that memorialcontributions be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Winter St., Augusta.
