She was the daughter of Charles L and Alice Amanda "Manda" (Holloway) Coffey.
She married Thomas Aran Gragg in 1913 in Watauga County, North Carolina. They were the parents of Olan Darrel and Myrtle Christine Gragg. Her first husband died in 1920.
She married William Gordon Coffey on Aug. 24, 1932, in Watauga County, North Carolina. They were the parents of Willajean and Robert H. Coffey.
