Theresa "Terry" Coffee Aitken
AGE: 85 • formerly of Collingswood
Terry went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2014.
Born in Ocean City, the daughter of the late Joseph B. & Mary Larkin Coffee. Beloved wife of 51 years to the late Charles B. Aitken, who passed January 9, 2001. Devoted mother of Kathi (Charles) Greyhosky, of Bentlyville, PA., Charles (Marge) Aitken, of Cherry Hill, Theresa (Gary) Maddox, of Oldsmar, FL & Douglas (Eileen) Aitken, of Woodbury; grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of nine; sister-in-law of Margaret Coffee; predeceased by two sisters: Margaret "Peg" Bond & Mary Balcerowski and two brothers: George & Joseph Coffee.
After raising her four children in Collingswood, Theresa worked for a number of years in the Collingswood Food Service Department at Mark Newbie and James A. Garfield Schools where she greatly enjoyed her interaction with the students. For the past 30 years Theresa enjoyed spending her summers at the family home in North Wildwood and, more recently, enjoyed keeping up with her growing family & friends on "Facebook".
Viewing Tuesday 6-8PM in BLAKE-DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 226 W. Collings Ave., Collingswood. Funeral Wednesday 9AM from the FUNERAL HOME. Funeral MASS 10:30AM in St. John's Church, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Collingswood. Interment beside her beloved husband at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
