Eleanor F. Brown-Daiute Eleanor F. Brown-Daiute BRAINTREE Eleanor F. (Cody) Brown-Daiute passed away at her Braintree home November 9, 2009. She was 88 years old. Born in Boston, she was a life long Braintree resident. Eleanor was a graduate of Sacred Heart School in Weymouth. She retired at the age of 74 after 25 years as a receptionist, bookkeeper & switchboard operator for the former Quincy Savings Bank in Quincy. She stayed active, taking piano lessons, tap dancing & a student of yoga. Eleanor was an avid gardener who kept & maintained her own home until her death. She enjoyed her family & was a sports fan of football & baseball. She was an avid member of the Weymouth Club and throughly enjoyed fishing. Beloved wife of the late William M. Brown & the late Ralph Daiute. Mother of Judith Anne Perruzzi of Weymouth, William M. Brown of Mansfield, Cathleen Lutz of Pembroke & John M. Brown of Braintree. Sister of William married to Gloria Cody of Braintree & the late George & his late wife Buddy Cody & Gerald Cody. Sister-in-law of Virginia Cody of Weymouth. Grandmother of Edward Sargent, Jodi Hogan, Michael Sargent, William C. Brown, Lindsay C. Brown, Kerri Ann Lutz, Kenneth Lutz & Elizabeth Lutz. Great Grandmother of Kristina Sargent, Brianna Sargent, Cassidy Sargent, Teddy Sargent, Abigail Hogan, William Brown, Joseph Colantoni & Samantha Colantoni. Funeral from the South Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home 809 Main St., (Rt. 18 opposite South Shore Hospital) Friday at 8:00 A.M. followed a Funeral Mass in St. Clares Church at 9:00 oclock. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday 3-7 P.M. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
